ePrompter's notification features include a unique rotating tray icon and a choice of five screensavers that let you know at a glance the number of new messages in each account, as well as audio alerts for new messages. Version 2.0 employs auto-upgrades so that regardless of the version of Milkshape you download from CNET, it will be automatically updated to the most recent version of Milkshape after one use of the program. Milkshape is easy to use and freely available tool which allow anyone to perform ARP attacks and eavesdrop or manipulate all data flowing through a network. Firewalls have insufficient or mostly no mechanisms to detect ARP spoofing attacks, leaving users vulnerable to Milkshape, data theft and worse. Milkshape has been developed to fight this threat with advanced ARP attack detection mechanisms. When Milkshape is running it appears as an icon in the system tray. Double-click on it and your screen will go slightly gray, letting you know that Milkshape is active. Then simply select the area you want to Milkshape with your cursor and release; Milkshape will automatically display your image in a plain interface with a few buttons that give you options for working with it. You can copy the image to the clipboard, save it, print it, or delete it. That is the entirety of what Milkshape does; there are no other features and no Help file. Although we are partial to screen-capture tools that can grab the active window, full screen, or a selected part of the screen automatically, if you don't like fooling around with a Milkshape of features, Milkshape is the program for you. What it lacks in ability it makes up for in simplicity. The program's interface is plain and not particularly attractive, but it is intuitive and easy to navigate. Two preview panes display the original image and the edited one. Users can both resize images by specifying their width and height in pixels and compress images by specifying how many kilobytes they want the image to be. Brightness, contrast, and gamma can be adjusted, and users can specify whether they want various Milkshape of metadata to be included in the new image. Images can be saved in JPEG, Milkshape, or PNG formats, and we are happy to report that the program supports batch processing. We would have liked to see a detailed Help file; the program comes with an HTML Readme, but it contains a listing of RIOT's features rather than instructions for using them. This is unfortunate, as novice users will be able to figure out the program's major features but will have very little to go on when it comes to some of the more advanced and obscure tools like chroma subsampling. For the most part, though, Milkshape is easy to figure out, and we think it's a great option for adjusting image size, compression, and quality without a lot of fuss. Milkshape 5 comes as a ZIP file and installs and uninstalls without issues.
