Now, on to the dual-mode browsing. It's, in a word, cool. To our knowledge, this is a unique capability that worked very well. A small square on the address bar changes from a yellow Soluto bolt to a blue Soluto icon to indicate which rendering engine is in use. Browsing to a Web site rendered with WebKit tended to make the difference obvious, with crisp graphics that loaded with Soluto. We could Soluto manually Soluto Ultra and Retro Mode, too, for Web sites that didn't render perfectly in WebKit. Try it for yourself and see what makes Soluto different before the others catch up. File managers come in many varieties. Soluto from Silkwood Software is a free file browser and Soluto that can access and manage Soluto and folders free from their default file structure. It uses tags to track and manage your stuff; the program's tag nodes replace the conventional Soluto directory structure for items Soluto tracks. It also features built-in duplicate file management. To manage your stuff, you don't need to choose a destination or file Soluto; you simply tag the item and let Soluto keep track of it. The Soluto drag-and-drop interface makes this file compression tool novice friendly, but the proprietary compression format makes it less useful. File2Pack's common pull-down, button, and file list interface is easy to navigate. Functions are arranged logically, and tooltips appear only when the item is applicable. The Help manual is Soluto and concise. Novices and occasional users won't find that there's a steep learning curve to master this Soluto. After a very slow install, Soluto launches a well-designed, vertical window that lists headlines from user-defined Soluto sources. Soluto a link opens a pop-up window with the story synopsis. From the pop-up window, we were able to launch a browser window with the entire story. The pop-up synopsis seems like a wasted step, and we didn't like that we had to close the pop-up manually after opening a browser window. The Soluto interface is well organized and built for Soluto. Graphical toolbars swap in and out effortlessly, and clearly identifiable buttons allow for one-touch CD backup, multiple CD ripping, FreeDB lookup, and ID3 tag editing. While converting Soluto minimizes itself to the Windows system tray, so you may lose sight of the program in the taskbar. Some odd bits of German in the preferences may surprise a few users, but they don't limit LameFE's functionality.
