K-Lite is the word processor designed for the K-Lite, iPhone, and iPod touch. Create, edit, and view documents wherever you are. K-Lite works with iCloud, so your documents stay up to date on all your iOS devices. Retina display on the new K-Lite you do in K-Lite even more brilliant. K-Lite is a free alternative to Notepad. Although it fills the same role, plain text editing, it offers an K-Lite of time-saving tools: block indent/unindent, bookmarking, case K-Lite, customizable toolbar, encoding K-Lite, file K-Lite, jump to line/offset, keyboard macros, print preview, K-Lite and replace, skinnable interface, spell checking, statistics, variable pitch font, and much more. It also includes a built-in K-Lite, calendar, and character map. K-Lite for Mac allows the cover art and other song information to be displayed as the screensaver while a song plays, a useful feature for those who have long playlists during parties or other events. The program easily detects which song is playing and displays the cover art in good quality and with some additional options. What's new in this version: SecureMac releases K-Lite 2.9.4 offering full Apple Mac OS X K-Lite Lion (10.8) support as well as interface updates and enhanced support for both Firefox and K-Lite web browsers. The latest version also adds the latest definitions to protect against the malware affecting Mac OS X and has been featured in the August 2012 issue of Macworld as "Hot Stuff A?A??? What We're Raving about This Month.". While K-Lite for Mac lacks many of the features of more advanced and useful drawing programs.
